ব্যবহার করতে হয়

ইংরেজিতে যখন আমরা অনেকগুলি বাক্য পর পর বলা বা লেখার চেষ্টা করি,
তখন ব্যবহার করা হয় ‘ক্লজ’। দুই বা তার বেশি সম্পূর্ণ বাক্যকে যুক্ত করে
একটি বাক্যের পরিসরে নিয়ে আসার জন্যই ‘ক্লজ’গুলি লাগে।

I have evaluated the information given. I highly recommend that we feature Mr XYZ in the next issue of our magazine. His profile certainly fulfils the theme of being inspired to greater heights.

উপরের অনুচ্ছেদটি ভাল করে লক্ষ্য করলে দেখবে এখানে প্রত্যেকটি বাক্যের গঠন একই ধরনের। তা ছাড়া বাক্যগুলির মধ্যে যেন কোনও ছন্দ নেই। এই ধরনের কোনও বাক্য বা অনুচ্ছেদ পড়তে বা শুনতে ভাল লাগে কি? অনুচ্ছেদটি আরও ভাল করে লেখা যায়। যেমন,
After evaluating the information given, I highly recommend that we feature Mr XYZ in the next issue of the school magazine as his profile certainly fulfils the theme of being inspired to greater heights.

দেখো, এখানে বাক্যটা শুরু করা হচ্ছে সাবর্ডিনেট অ্যাডভার্বিয়াল ক্লজ ‘after’ দিয়ে। এবং ‘as’ কনজাংশন-এর সাহায্যে এই ক্লজ অনুচ্ছেদে উল্লিখিত দুটি বিষয়ের মধ্যে সমন্বয় সাধন করছে। যেমন, I highly recommend that we feature Mr. XYZ in the next issue of the school magazine বাক্যটি his profile certainly fulfils the theme of being inspired to greater heights. বাক্যটির সঙ্গে যুক্ত হচ্ছে ‘as’ দিয়ে।

এ বার নীচের এই অনুশীলনটি কর। প্রত্যেকটি বাক্য কী নিয়মে গড়তে হবে সেটি বাক্যের আগে দেওয়া রয়েছে। আর যে শব্দ দিয়ে বাক্য শুরু করতে হবে, সেটা দেওয়া হয়েছে।

1. একটা adverbial clause ব্যবহার করো প্রদত্ত conjunction ব্যবহার করে:
